How long have you been in business?
I started Aspen Bookkeeping and Payroll Service in 2009 but I have been in the accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll business for over 25 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Small business bookkeeping and payroll service.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in the Accounting profession many years ago when I was in college. I worked for a large public company for 21 years but switched to small business accounting a few years ago. I found small business accounting to be more rewarding for me as my years of big company accounting experience was a true benefit to my smaller clients.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I believe in customer service and I strive to provide extra services that I feel my clients can use to manage their business. As a finacial analyst for a large corporation for 21 years, I learned how to analyze a variety of business segments and improve profitability for my company. I take pride in providing this service to my small business clients who may not have the time or expertise to acomplish this needed analysis.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location and I plan on keeping it that way for some time. I travel to each of my clients places of business on a regular basis.

What type of payments do you accept?
I accept cash and checks. I invoice monthly for my services.
Which areas do you service?
I generally cover the San Joaquin Valley however I have one client in Guam, a US Territory.

Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I can be reached at other times to accomodate my clients needs as well.
