How long have you been in business?
I started as a newspaper and magazine photojournalist. CamLen Studio originally started as Beatie-Kamalan Photography in 1982 in Sanger and the Fresno studio opened shortly after under the name of CamLen Studio . We are entering our 27th year.
What is your primary product or service?
Custom Portraiture in all areas, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs,Weddings, Corporate and more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was always interested in Art, and have won several awards for my chalk and pastel work. I also studied design engineering but ended up in professional photography. I studied at West Coast School of Professional Photography - Brooks, U.C. Santa Cruz extension and Fresno. I have also been the Professional Photographers of Calif. Central Valley West Coast School rep. for the U.C. campuses ( UC Santa Barbara,UC Riverside,etc.).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Years of award winning professional photography experience. We have more awards for photographic excellence than any other Central Calif. studio. We keep current with photography trends and styles and are expert in studio lighting and location lighting.
Fun directed and coaxed posing magazine style along with a photojournalistic blend.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location on N. Palm Ave. in Fresno. We have 3,000 sq. ft. of building situated on one acre which is beautiful for photography.

We are by appointment only. We are located on N. Palm Ave. on the corridor between River Park and Fig Garden Village.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and of course cash and check.
(We no longer accept AMX do to the inappropriate ways AMX has treated us and others.)
Which areas do you service?
We service any geographical area in the universe as long as you can get us there.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
CamLen Studio is an LLC and operated by Terry Kamalan and staff.
What are your hours of operation?
We are by appointment for everyone’s convenience. We try to accommodate times that are best for all.
Normal times are Tuesday-Friday 10am-5:30pm. Saturdays are usually reserved for Families, Weddings and Mitzvahs and sometimes snowboarding.
